Hi Nicholas! I said i would post so look at me. I am posting🙂 I raised this crazy human we all call Nicholas. I take all the blame and all the honor. Although I don't really get all the blame or all the honor. Many great people have helped to form Nicholas into the fabulous humans he is!I am honored to be a part of you! I wish I could post something Simply Fabulous but I am not the writer! Nicholas is. I love that you have a platform to share your ideas and writings I love so very much reading the comments from your friends. I'm super honored that there's a world out there that loves you. Just FYI everyone he loves comments. They do not have to be as fabulous comments as Cara's because she is the ultimate writer also. So good job Cara! I hope to meet you someday. All you great humans keep supporting each other out there . Have the most amazing spectacular weekend.

Dude, for lack of a better term, this post goes hard. I generally tend not to like the kind of Overview of Philosophers you get in, like, an English class where it’s relevant but not completely relevant— but as always, your writing keeps my interest. I really like the idea of language being insufficient to capture the human condition. It’s something I think about a lot, as I’m sure you’ve divined by now. With this quotation,

“And really do give this some thought: how much of philosophy, in its beautiful argumentation and elaborate reasoning and story-telling, is reliant on a misuse of language?”

you’ve summed up many of my thoughts on the matter quite neatly. Thanks for this!

I’m glad you’re switching to bi-monthly posts, by the way. Don’t burn yourself out. I will miss reading these every weekend, though. As always, thank you for sharing your insights with the world, and please have an exceptional weekend!

You're the bestest, Cara. I'm glad you liked this one. And yeah there's plenty of philosophers and religious thinkers that are interested in the limits of language in capturing experience, for example, one of my favorites of all time, Thomas Nagel. How can we describe consciousness in third-person, objective terminology when it is essentially a first-person, subjective phenomenon? Thank you for the support as always!!!

I have also directly been influenced by the full use of your name, huzzah and congratulations, no moniker but the full layout of great-grandmother and I.

Some point in the past few years I realized I really like my whole name laid out: Nicholas Charles Urich. It's robust and pretty. You have a lovely full name, Samantha.

!!! cool! Desert mice are mighty quiet…sneaky little things behind the stove. Is back there among all the wires where infinity ends? Ineffable limits only they’d know. Maybe they’re God. Been considering that most things are ineffable, as in the way a child sees. As in the way leaves upturn before a storm without word. Who knows, who knows, except that omniscient God whose reason overlays all?
